Olivia and Gabe are moving into their first apartment together. They've just packed up all their belongings and driven halfway across the country to start their new life in Chicago. Moving day doesn't exactly go as planned, though, and things become more complicated when all of their parents show up to help. Throw an outrageous building superintendent into the mix, and hilarity ensues. Things My Mother Taught me is a funny, touching look at lessons parents pass on to their children, sometimes without even trying. Although not appropriate for very young children, this is a great play to treat Mom with for Mother's Day. Bring the whole family.
